We are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Scott Duncanson as our new General Manager. As the company enjoys another year of steady growth, we are excited to welcome Scott to the team as we prepare for further expansion throughout the southeast Asia regions.
Scott relocated to Thailand in 1991 after completing his shipwright studies in Adelaide, Australia. He followed in the footsteps of his father, John Duncanson, a celebrated yacht designer, by joining a team that built commercial and military ships for the Thai Navy in Chonburi. Scott also served as an instructor in computer-aided design at the Laem Chabang technical college. In 1999, Scott moved to Phuket and has since gained over 20 years of experience in Corporate General Management across various industries. During this time, he also founded “Seahorse Sailing Phuket,” a comprehensive sailing school.
Scott’s achievements in competitive sailing include four victories at the Phuket King’s Cup in various classes and enjoyed a long service as Commodore of the Phuket Yacht Club, where he continues as Vice Commodore to this day. We are looking forward to the contributions Scott will make to Clearvac Engineering Asia. His expertise will be instrumental as we expand into the competitive sailing community in Southeast Asia and enhance our yacht services and corporate management procedures in our offices in Phuket, Bangkok, and Singapore.
