AIR HYGIENE SERVICES
We offer a wide variety of Air Hygiene Services to any number of ventilation systems. These range from the Bridge, Accommodation, Galley, Laundry, Hospital, Control room and staff areas to name a few.
Carrying out these services are crucial to ensuring the systems are compliant with current health & safety, industry standards, insurance guidance and regulations keeping any air supplied to an occupied area to a compliant standard. In the case of the extract systems ensuring that any fire hazards are removed and providing a Clearvac certification for insurance purposes.

AIR CONDITIONING DUCTS
Yacht air duct cleaning is now an essential part of a considered maintenance schedule. Poorly maintained air ducts aboard naval boats make an excellent environment for the growth of mold, bacteria, and odour.
Ducts are prone to significant exposure of indoor air pollution. Additionally, painting, varnishing, sanding, carpentry, and metallurgy are all present around yachts and vessels that are being refitted or even new construction. These produce pollutants such as dust, dirt, and other substances that enter the ductwork. The supply and return air ducts are sanitised (end-to-end) as part of our yacht air duct cleaning routine of services, a crucial step in the process. The procedure comprises additional elements involved in the distribution of airflow throughout the vessel, such as supply and
return air plenums, air vents, air grilles and diffusers, extractor fans, transition boxes, and louvered vents, which are all thoroughly cleaned.
OZONE TREATMENT
Clearvac Engineering Asia utilise the Ozone Technology as a natural method of disinfection and sterilisation of internal living and working spaces.
This is the most effective agent in the neutralisation of bacteria, viruses, micro-organism, mould, fungi larvae / odours and proves ozone to be a much stronger and greener solution than hazardous chemicals. The environment for the incubation of any kind of bacteria are places where little ventilation exists, temperature is warm, and a degree of humidity prevails.
Clearvac offers Ozone treatments using our custom industrial European built Ozone generators. These machines can sanitise internal spaces from Bacterias, Viruses and Mould. This is done with minimal disruption and no residues after completion.
Bacteria are microscopically small, single-cell creatures having a primitive structure.
The bacteria body is sealed by a relatively solid cell membrane. Ozone interferes with the metabolism of bacterium-cells, most likely through inhibiting and blocking the operation of the enzymatic control system. A sufficient amount of ozone breaks through the cell membrane and this leads to the destruction of the bacteria. Viruses are small, independent particles, built of crystals and macromolecules. Unlike bacteria, they multiply only within the host cell. They transform the protein of the host cell into proteins of their own.
Ozone destroys most viruses by diffusing through the protein coat into the nucleic acid core, resulting in damage of the viral RNA.
At higher concentrations, ozone destroys the capsid, or exterior protein shell, by oxidation, so the DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) or RNA (ribonucleic acid structures of the microorganism are affected.
